We could say what they all say– that we became photographers to capture your most important memories or that we love to meet new people and experience new things. And all of that is true. But, to us, photography is so much more than that. Read on.
Photography is Powerful
Imagine a world without photography. What if Robert Cape had never captured the heroism of the troops landing at Omaha beach on D-Day? What if Neil Leifer had never captured the moment when Muhammed Ali took down Sonny Liston in a rematch battle after people didn't believe Liston could be beat? What if Dorthea Lange had never captured her iconic shot, Migrant Mother, in 1936 putting a face on the struggles of the Great Depression?
How about in your own life? Let's be real, I bet you have 4,000 photos on your iPhone just like me.
Photography is communication– A way to show grandma and grandpa how much your child has grown when you live far away. It is the look on the face of the love-of-your-life the moment they see you for the first time in your wedding attire. For me, photography is the love I feel when looking at a photo of me sitting on my late grandfather's lap on a fishing boat with a huge grin on my face. I was around 5-years-old. Do you have an image from your life that stands out to you?
Photography is cherished memories. Photography gives you goosebumps, makes you laugh, and makes you cry. It is a view of the Northern Lights, a detailed shot into space, and a glimpse down the Grand Canyon. Photography is Powerful.
This is why we choose photography.
We do it for you.
We study our craft every day, and have been for years. We work towards capturing your most valuable memories because we've been there. We understand the importance of your wedding day, your child's early steps, and your parent's surprise 50th anniversary party. We will provide you excellent photography and excellent artistry because we would want the same in our own lives. Photography is powerful, and we want to empower YOU.
